We had 2 exciting events in March, thanks to a SPARK grant from Action Greensboro and Downton Greensboro. Our first event was a screening of Alex Eaves documentary "REUSE: because you can't recycle the planet". We partnered with UNCG's Greensboro Project Space in downtown Greensboro to show this film for free and allow viewers to ask Alex questions following the film. We had about 50 attenders come out to GPS for this event.

The following day, we had an amazing Spring weather day for RE-PLAY, which was a pop-up creative reuse playground that was open free to the public from 12-5 at Center City Park. We had over 700 attenders to this event!! Some participants stayed for hours creating forts and house out of cardboard and found reused objects. A big thanks to our board members and many volunteers that helped make this event possible.

So that brings up to April, which is Earth Day month. Laura is busy with lots of outreach in schools to teach about reuse. Below are a 2 events for the remainder of April.
